Welcome to the Oaks Fire Company and Relief Association website

This site sponsored by the Oaks Fire Company Fireman’s Relief Association and is designed to provide an insight to the company, its history, the members and information on responses, social and community service activities, as well as links to various local fire service organizations.

The Oaks Fire Company has been providing fire and rescue services within Upper Providence Township and its surrounding communities since 1907 and was chartered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1908. The Company responds to over 300 emergency incidents each year and is 100% staffed by professional volunteer firefighters of which over 85% are certified by the National Fire Protection Association and the Commonwealth. The majority of the members are also certified by the Commonwealth Department of Health as Vehicle Rescue Technicians.

The Oaks Fire Company needs your help to fill critical vacancies. As a not-for-profit organization that does not charge for its services, we are in need of volunteers to serve as firefighters, fire police and administrative staff. Currently our members are corporate officers, research scientist, engineers, and a full range of white and blue collar managers, technician professionals, and retirees’ who share a common desire to serve the community. With your support, we can continue to provide professional volunteer services to the community in which we live.
For more information, please review the Join Us section of this site, call us at 610-666-7965 and leave a message; or stop by the Green Tree Road Fire Station any Monday evening before we start our weekly training at 7PM.
